The 2hire platform brings a broad range of car manufacturers into a single, unified data layer that complements SIXT's in-house direct OEM integrations — simplifying how the company runs one of the world's largest rental operations.

Rental at SIXT's scale spans dozens of vehicle brands, each with its own APIs, data formats and telematics standards. 2hire brings a broad portfolio of car manufacturers under a single, unified data layer so that SIXT can run consistent operational logic across any connected vehicle in scope, regardless of brand. For example, by streaming accurate mileage and fuel data directly from the vehicle into its own operational systems, SIXT can enable precise and automated readings at rental check-in and check-out.

The agreement complements the OEM integrations SIXT has built directly in-house: where the operator runs its own connection to a manufacturer, 2hire extends coverage to additional brands across leading European and U.S. car makers. The integration relies on embedded OEM connectivity — with no additional onboard hardware required on supported models — and supports operational use cases from real-time vehicle status to fleet lifecycle insights.
